When Port Townsend opened for business in 1997 it offered its customers just two beers: Port Townsend Pale Ale and Port Townsend Brown Porter. Since that time the brewery and its offerings have grown and Port Townsend Brewing now brews ten different beers.
In recent years, Port Townsend Brewing’s products have become more commonly found in the Seattle area. Owners Kim and Guy Sands are fixtures in the local, Port Townsend community and their brewery actively supports a number of civic causes. While the brewery has long been a beloved fixture in Port Townsend, it now enjoys a reputation as one of Washington’s finest breweries.
