Located in Edmonds, American Brewing Company is an up-and-coming star on the local beer scene. The brewery opened in early 2011 and immediately captured the attention of the local beer community. Brewmaster Skip Madsen quickly put his stamp on the product coming out of the newly constructed brewhouse, creating finely crafted, delicious beers from the get-go. With a work history dating back 20 years, Skip is a highly respected member of the local brewing community. His resume includes stints brewing at Pike Brewing, Big Time Brewery, Boundary Bay Brewing, and others.
While Skip has been building fantastic beers in the brewery, owner Neil Fallon and his crew have rapidly established American Brewing’s place in the local beer scene. You can find the beer on tap at beer bars around the Seattle area and in bottles at the area’s better beer retail outlets. Better yet, swing by the Breakaway Room, the brewery’s taproom in Edmonds, and savor the beer at the source.
